Talking.

Crosswalk, talking about Ben Stiller's cameo in the film 'Anchorman'.

"...my dear friend Mr. Stiller makes his appearance, but not to be outdone in retarded comedy cameos, he is joined by other comics du jour like Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn. Tim Robbins also makes an uncredited appearance. Owen Wilson was not in attendance, however, which is odd. I didn't know they allowed Ben to make movies without Owen."

Oh, how true. :o)

Crosswalk (again), talking about two opposing models for achieving a loving, lasting bond with another person (full article here).

Hollywood Says:

  1. Find the right person
  2. Fall in love
  3. Fix your hopes and dreams on this person for your future fulfilment
  4. If failure occurs, repeat steps 1, 2, 3.

God's way is very hard, but it's very effective. He tells us to:

  1. Become the right person (mimic God)
  2. Walk in love
  3. Fix your hope on God and seek to please Him through this relationship.
  4. If failure occurs, repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
Me, talking about my dream-reality adventures.

I had the day off work yesterday (darn flu!), and at about 10:00, I felt myself trying to wake up. I slowly opened my eyes, and looked out my bedroom door. I could see across to the spare room, and there was a car in there! The car was changing colour as I looked, so after a few moments of disbelief, I realised "Hey, this isn't real, I must still be dreaming!"

So I tried to wake up again... I opened my eyes, and found myself on the floor. "I must have rolled off of my bed during the night and pulled the quilt down with me," I thought. I reached over to get my mobile phone so I could see what the time was. As I put my hands up so I could see my phone, I realised that my arms, hands and the phone were invisible! They looked like a watermark, just watery outlines. "Ah, so this is a dream too..." I thought.

I tried to wake up again... and woke up for real this time. It's good to be back in the real world. It was very odd, because the two dreams seemed so real!

Me, talking about an awesome movie.

Paycheck, with Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman. Oh yes, what a great movie. I love movies where every piece fits, everything falls into place. And movies where, at the start, you're wondering "What is going on here?!?", then you find out as the characters do. Awesome.

My fiance was adamant that he wouldn't like it, but he was wrong (I chose the movie, despite his objections). Afterwards, when he was talking about how good it was, I said "The moral of the story is, I know what you like better than you do!" Hey, that's what a wife's for! I'm still in training, but I'm getting there.
